I want to give a plug for the HDT Nutrition Program with Kimberly McGrath. For anyone who wants to lose weight and is on the fence about it, I highly recommend it. This is my 8th week on the program and I am in awe of the results. I started at 228.6 pounds and as of this morning I'm down to 213.6 pounds. That's 15 pounds lost in less than 8 weeks, and more than halfway to my mid-term goal of getting under 200 pounds! I need to buy new pants because they're all falling down now. I did the Level 2 program where Kim prepares a custom plan for you, and it was spot on from the start and has required zero adjustment. I've even gotten sloppy about tracking my macros over the past couple weeks (need to get back on that) but because I've learned intuitively what I should be eating I continue to make progress. And my adherence to the plan has been far from perfect...sometimes I mess up and my weight creeps back up, but it's been easy for me to get back on track. If you have any questions, just ask!
I just wanted to take a moment and share my progress thus far. I am down 13 pounds while working with Kimberly. I've lost 4.5 inches around my waist, only 3 around my chest and my average sleep quality has increased 16% in about 5 weeks. My strength has actually increased with a little tweak from Kim allowing me to set a few PRs in the gym.
This is my first round of the nutrition program within the HDT training plan and I can say I have not been disappointed.
I have learned so much more about nutrition than I ever thought, Kim is always available for help and is extremely encouraging. I have always wanted to combine a nutrition coach with my training and I was so happy when HDT brought Kim on board to do just that. The cost of the program is pennies compared to the knowledge and health benefits gained by eating better and making life changes. Habits begin with a decision and discipline; make a decision to live better. By learning how to eat for a more healthy life that is full of energy, enthusiasm, and regained confidence! HDT Nutrition is where it is at, and Kimberly McGrath is the best at helping you achieve your goals.
Since the beginning of my 8 weeks (with still 3 to go!) I have lost 5 lbs and over 4" off my waist! The proof is in the waistline baby! So happy to be a part of this program.
