Hey everyone,

So I've been looking into rucking as a way to up my fitness levels. I live about an hour outside of Chicago and was thinking about signing up for the light event in September. In the mean time I've across Pathfinder training. The next class starts up on August 1st. Are there any other training programs? Are they any suggestions for beginners or ways to train until the class starts? Really any tips here will help! Also if anyone is in the Chicagoland area and would like to train let me know! Thanks! www.theracekustom.com

Hello! We offer a training program that is for rucking and PT, we collaborate with Pathfinder also. Best thing to do for the rucking is to start off at a weight you feel comfortable with and get some decent miles with that weight, every week or so try increasing the weight by 5-10 pounds, some weeks you may feel you it's not necessary to increase and that's fine. I would say don't go over a total of 50-60 pounds at any point though. Another thing is to mix up weights and distances, go longer distance with lighter weight and shorter distance add some extra weight. Any other questions let me know!

My goal is to improve my cardio with this, specifically if it can also marginally improve my run time as well. I walk 5 miles around a local park and I've averaged a 17:30 pace. Disposable vape pod

  • Does anyone know if you can fly with your ruck and weight plates as a carry on?
